Together, they have put London theatre firmly on the map.

London theatre no longer follows in Broadway's footsteps. It is now setting the trend with such quality originals as Cameron Mackintosh's Betty Blue Eyes and Terence Rattigan's Flare Path. Furthermore, many more plays have had their debut in London, such as the stage adaptation of Billy Elliott.
